Assign a Sanpshot LUN with existing signature to vShere Cluster which is part of VMware SRM

Dear All,

Can we assign a Snapshot LUN with existing signature to vShere Cluster which is part of VMware SRM?? What would be the impact.

Consider that you cloned few LUNs which are already attached to one of the vSphere cluster. Then, if we assign this cloned LUNs to other vSphere cluster to where SRM protects VMs are running.

What would be the impact.

I'm still not entirely clear what you're trying to do, what your goal is?

If you cloned a LUN and then presented that cloned LUN to another vSphere cluster there wouldn't be an impact on SRM but you could/would end up with duplicate VMs on your network. What are you trying to accomplish by doing this? Are you already using SRM?
