Adding licenses to vCenter

Does SRM need to be installed and the plug-in installed in vCenter before I can add SRM licenses to vCenter?

You can't add SRM licenses to vCenter until you do a proper SRM install with a connection to vCenter.

Not sure about the plugin - I think that you only need to install SRM and register it to the proper vCenter, and you should be able to add licenses under the license manager of the vCenter Server.

Hi,

I believe you can add the license without SRM being installed.

I was under impression that this is possible. Tried this and also got an error.

Sorry for misinformation.

Michael.
