Welcome to the Community,

how did you configure the ESXi VM's HDD settings, i.e. what's the size of the HDD which you are using to install ESXi? In case it is too small for the scratch partition (4GB), you will need to configure a scratch location post installation (see http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1033696)

Dear Andre

thank for your replying..

i red about this relative threads, and tried many times to solve this issue .

also I did change the size of disk to 150G, and it is still not working.

i am new to Vsphere, and will try to learn the coding you put here for solution.

Please attach (use "Attach Files" below the edit box) the VM's vmware.log file (that can be found in the VM's folder) to a reply post.

I'm not 100% sure, but the issue could be related to the virtual disk type you are using. Please create a new VM with a SCSI virtual disk instead of an IDE disk. For additional information (e.g. "vhv.enable") take a look at VMware KB: Installing ESXi in VMware Fusion
