Who are the others in the virtualization security market beside VMware?

We are looking for alternate products to compare for our vmware environment. (~2000 Guests, pure ESXi 4.1 U1) 
Our preference is of course VMware but our security department demands comparisons with other products.

Would you please help me with alternates, also about security products for Guest-agentless solutions!

This is currently undergoing an update but should get you started. A few changes for you as you read through the whitepaper (it requires registration):

     Altor is now part of Juniper with vGW 4.0

     Trend Micro Deep Security is now at v7.5
