Hi all, just wanted to drop a quick note. We are going to have a meet and greet at the RSA conference this year for the VMTN folks. We did this last year for VMworld and we had a lot of fun. Some of the VMware guys are going to drop in to meet some of us. It is an informal gathering where we can network and talk to the guys at VM about security.
Here are the details:
Wednesday, 5 - 8 PM at the Thirsty Bear Brewing Company at 661 Howard St. It is just past the "W" bar. Howard St. runs between Moscone North and South. It is one way, so go against traffic about a block and you will find the place. Still confused? Attached is a pic of the outside sign and a link below to google maps.
Alright, the VMware guys are going to be there from 6 - 7 PM after the Expo closes. Look for them in the light blue polo shirts.
Look for me, I am the German guy with two beers in hand. Look forward to seeing some of you there if you can make it!
Cheers,
surferdave
Hello,
I wish I could be there. Have a pint for me.

I'm the technical marketing guy for RSA and am the one who built the VMware demo for the RSA booth. Many of the live demos being used are hosted on an ESX server setup that I built, all running in a mobile rack. (I'm the resident VMware geek at RSA)
Please, feel free to stop by and say hello and chat about VMware and RSA stuff.
