Pre-requirements vmware scripting

I am a bit confused. I have installed PowerCLi 4.1 and Powershell 1 and 2.

I still can not get some scripts especially the HealthCheck script... do I still need to install the vmware toolkit and perl sdk on the server?

A Bit confused as to whats to install on the server to run automated scripts..

Any help will be great
