"Before" my first time :-D

Hello everybody,

I'm using the Google translator, forgive any inaccuracies due only to my shortcomings!

Is there a flowchart to help me understand which product is right for me?

I would like to know the WMware world, but I don't know which product to download (regardless of the type of hardware I have).

I don't understand the difference between Vsphere and Vcenter.

I would like to create an environment within which to create multiple virtual machines.

I don't know which products I need to install!

Thank you!

And just to be clear: vCenter Server is the software that manages physical hosts which have vSphere ESXi installed.

you can get VMware vSphere trial licenses, they have a limited time. you could also subscribe to VMUG and get licenses for various products. this all is intended for lab usage of course. If you want to run it in production you would need to buy vSphere + vCenter Server.

Is this for a lab? For home use? For a company that wants to run various apps on multiple physical hosts? Do you need some form of availability?

For a company that wants to run various apps on multiple physical hosts. But the company does not know, that is, I would like to practice, but without making the company buy the license, essentially it is for a personal laboratory, where I would like to be free to create a vm for a mail server, etc. ..
