How to customize a Hypervisor iso with PowerCLI instead of using Esxi Trial ISO from the repo

I've successfully customized, following the istruction here

http://www.v-front.de/p/esxi-customizer-ps.html#download

the esxi iso.

The problem is that I'd like to customize the Free version that I've already have with a valid "free license".it

What was the right procedure, if that is possible!

P.s. would like wonderful if that procedure would works with 6.5 version, too.

Thank you

so i'd just have to set the Licenze mumber for the "free version" and it will not expire after 60 days?

Yes, exactly.

If you are using the Windows based vSphere Client, select the host, then open the "Configuration" tab, and select "Licensed Features" in the "Software" pane. Once there, you'll find an "Edit.." link on the upper right.

I'm not exactly sure what you are looking for.

The binaries are the same regardless of the edition, i.e. free vs. paid.

Really?

so it works perfectly!

I've set the license key, too.

Just another question, is it possible to Customize the 6.5 version, too ?

Do you know how ?

AFAIK, VMware doesn't provide a patch repository yet for v6.5. I'm sure the author of the tool will add this version as soon as the repository is available.
