This might be a noob question
I am running esxi and myy server has 2 SATA Drives
Question I have is how do access my 2nd Drive with I just
use for Data I am using vmsphere client to administrate my Server
Does VMWare lock out
my 2nd hard drive because of its own property file syste

ESX(i) is no file server, it's just not built for that purpose.
What you can do, is to create a datastore on your second disk (Caution: This will delete all data currently on this disk!!!!), install a virtual machine (a file server) for which you create the virtual disk on that datastore and share the data this way.
