Patch VCSA 7.0 (two vCenters) in Linked mode?

I have two vCenter servers (VCSA) both are 7.0. I need to patch them and I am not able to find a procedure to do that, especially how to take snapshot and which node to take down first?

Hi Rajeev,

You need to take powered off snapshots of both the vCenters. Post that patch VC1 and then VC2.

In case while patching you face any issues collect the log bundle and then revert snapshot for both the VCs.

Thank you for your quick reply.

So if I understand correctly, 

I will shutdown both the vCenter at the same time and take offline snapshots on both VCs.

Then bring both online and start patching VC1. Once VC1 is patched let it come online and start updating VC2?

And if there is any failure with any of these two, I should again shutdown both and then revert both to the snapshot and then bring them back?
