Loggined Into vCenter as root, can't run commands for workarounds

What am I doing wrong? I saw ESXi wasn't impacted so I am trying to hit the vCenter server itself, its a linux system and I'm in as root but no commands in the workaround are working I can't do the first step for instance:

cp -rfp /usr/lib/vmware-vmon/java-wrapper-vmon /usr/lib/vmware-vmon/java-wrapper-vmon.bak

or

-rfp /usr/lib/vmware-vmon/java-wrapper-vmon /usr/lib/vmware-vmon/java-wrapper-vmon.bak

? Thanks.

@RioAdmin01 May be you are trying to execute the commands from Appliance shell, if that is the case you need to execute 'shell' command to change to bash shell and then execute the commands, attached a sample screenshot

Btw, you may also follow the script in KB https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/87088 to apply the workaround instead of manual method.
