Lighttpd Web Server need to update on vcenter 6.7

I need to update the Lighttpd Web Server  on vcenter 6.7. please suggest how can we update the Lighttpd.

currently Installed version: lighttpd/1.4.45

Hi, Dcintel.

Unfortunately, you cannot update software packages in VCSA individually. As described in KB2090839, that is not supported on VMware virtual appliances.

VMware Virtual Appliances and customizations to operating system and included packages (2090839)

To update the software packages, you must update the whole appliance. In VCSA, using VAMI and update-iso.

Though, as I checked vami-lighttpd in my VCSA 7.0 U3c (build-19234570), the latest VCSA, the version was still 1.4.45. So I suppose the package is not updated on newer VCSA 6.7 releases too.

root@vcsa [ ~ ]# vpxd -v
VMware VirtualCenter 7.0.3 build-19234570
root@vcsa [ ~ ]# /opt/vmware/sbin/vami-lighttpd -v
lighttpd/1.4.45 (ssl) - a light and fast webserver
Build-Date: Sep 30 2020 21:51:20
