Is VMSA-2021-0010 unaffected by Photon OS 6.5U3?

Hi,

We are investigating a vulnerability in VMSA-2021-0010.
I'm not familiar with VMWare products and I'm in trouble because I can't talk to anyone.

As the subject says, does this vulnerability apply to Photon OS 6.5U3?
The ISO file cannot be found.

you mean vCenter Server Appliance 6.5 U3 probably? Which indeed runs Photon OS. Then the answer is yes. You will need to patch it, release notes for 6.5U3p can be found here: https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/6.5/rn/vsphere-vcenter-server-65u3p-release-notes.html

To answer your question, for VCSA 6.5 it needs to be patched to 6.5 U3p to mitigate vulnerability discussed in VMSA-2021-0010.

I couldn't install the ISO file, so I wondered if it was out of scope.
