Do backups need to be paused for update 6.7 3o?

I run Veeam backups and would like to know if I have to pause jobs prior to applying patch.

Hello,

During the patching process, the vCenter services gets restarted which would cancel all the running tasks. 

Hence, it is recommended to pause all the backup jobs and apply the patch.
