Centos 8 Display Resolution Persistence

Greetings,

Just installed Centos 7 guest.    Go into the GDM gui display and set at 2560x1600.

Reboot.   Comes back at the new resolution.

Install Centos 8 guest.   Set display at 2560x1600.   Reboot.   And it returns to

the old resolution.

Resolution?

How are you accessing the VM? Through the Console/VMC or VNC Viewer etc?
