I have a host that lost connection to my Vshere. I am able to ping the host, resolve the domain name, testing both through the Mgmt network on ESXi and from my workstation is good. I can SSH into the device, I can also connect to it via its own Vshere direclty typing in its IP, but it will not add into the Vsphere where all my hosts are at (HQ). I have reset the network several times, I have made sure lockdown is disabled, I have also re-imaged the device. Before I had attempted to create a Virtual Distributed Switch from the host while it was connected to my Vsphere and when I imported the existing Vswitch into the VDS that is when it all went wrong. Since then I had to restore it and now no connection. The hostd.log shows several errors when I try to connect to the vsphere (HQ.com) There are some NIC settings still on the host I cannot seem to clear from the VDS that was created, any one have some ideas?
