Integrating with Android Enterprise is an upgrade to the existing G-Suite module. There has been a lot of debate and discussion around Android terminology and everyone seems to have a different answer. Ethan hunted down some PMs and below is an outline of various Google terms/phrases you may or may not have heard.
- Android Enterprise is the phrase to use when referencing Android devices that utilize google/android features and functionality designed for productivity and enabled by an organization. Android Enterprise includes Android for Work & G Suite.
- Android for Work is the current EMM Enrollment setting/option in the console. Technically, it could be called Android Enterprise, but it will remain as Android for Work and is referenced as such in the module.
- G Suite is used to describe the collection of productivity apps offered by Google.
