End of life for VMware AirWatch Content Locker for Windows Desktop by AirWatch Support On April 1, 2018, the VMware AirWatch Content Locker for Windows Desktop application, available through an .MSI installer, will reach End of Life. On this date, the .MSI installer file will no longer be available on the myAirWatch Resource Portal, and AirWatch can no longer guarantee full support to devices leveraging this application. VMware Content Locker will continue to be supported, and is available in the Windows Marketplace. Implications for CustomersCustomers should work to migrate any devices leveraging the VMware AirWatch Content Locker for Windows Desktop application to the VMware Content Locker app available in the Windows Marketplace. Leverage the “VMware Content Locker Capabilities by Platform” section on page 40 of the VMware AirWatch Mobile Content Management Guide to identify potential product differences in your use cases.
