serial port

Hi,
I have a HP server (DL 380) that have a serial port. I would know, if is possibile, use this serial port when I make a virtual machine with vmware vsphere 5. So if this virtual port is Port Pass Through...So the questions is: It's possible to use a physical serial port on virtual machine with vphere 5?

I didn't try this with the latest ESXi versions. However, according to the documentation it is supported.

In this link I read that esxi support physical serial port. I had read that esxi not supported physical serial port but perhaps yes (wit last version)...

That's correct, older versions of ESXi did not support physical serial connections (http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1003129). Anyway, ESXi 5.0 is not mentioned in this article.
