running install on a 4k monitor

A colleague of mine ran the installer on a 4K monitor and said that the dialogs show up as blurry.

Is there a specific parameter to set for 4K monitors?

Thank you,

Claire

Hi @clairealex7,

Can you tell us in which platform are you testing the 4k monitor? Can you share with us a screenshot of the error you are facing?

Hello

Another colleague of mine made this comment:
InstallBuilder does not seem to take advantage of Hi-DPI screens. The fonts are as pixelated as on a low-DPI screen. Is there a settings for this.

I am attaching the screenshot he sent me.

Thank you,

Claire

Hi @clairealex7,

On which platform are you running the installer? If you are using Windows, could you try enabling "<windowsDPIAware>" in your project?

<project>
  ...
   <windowsDPIAware>1</windowsDPIAware>
  ...
</project>

Best regards,

Michiel

We noticed that the images displayed as slide show are not displaying the same way on a 4k monitor, now that I have enabled the high DPI property.
See the attached images.

Is there a way for me to get the images display the same, I mean size-wise?

Thank you!

Claire
