Unfortunately it is not possible to hide or change the appearance of the Welcome page. As a workaround you could change the welcome message by modifying the built-in text strings. For example:
Installer.Welcome.Title=Installation of %1$s Installer.Welcome.Text=This is the installer of %1$s.
