We are building a new CentOS 7 image with all the most recent updates to it (so it's a 7.3 desktop).
These are vGPU desktops backed by NVIDIA M10's with open-vm-tools and the 7.0.3 Horizon agent installed. We do not have an HD Audio device set up on the VM.
We cannot get sound working on these desktops. Do we need to add an audio device or specify something specifically in the .vmx file?
Solved - we are trying to use xfce instead of gnome with these machines for performance reasons. Switching back to gnome enabled sound by default.

Yes, Horizon for Linux desktop only supports the Gnome desktop currently.
