Pulseaudio not working on RHEL 8.6

Hi,

I have no sound on our RHEL 8.6 guest OS. I followed what was discussed in this thread: https://communities.vmware.com/t5/Horizon-for-Linux/Horizon-8-0-RHEL-8-2-guest-No-sound/td-p/2821386, to no avail.

On journal logs, I have lots of these lines when a user logs into the VDI:

Sep 28 19:49:29 myhost.com pulseaudio[5135]: Denied access to client with invalid authentication data.
Sep 28 19:49:30 myhost.com pulseaudio[5135]: Denied access to client with invalid authentication data.
Sep 28 19:49:31 myhost.com pulseaudio[5135]: Denied access to client with invalid authentication data.
Sep 28 19:49:32 myhost.com pulseaudio[5135]: Denied access to client with invalid authentication data.
Sep 28 19:49:33 myhost.com pulseaudio[5135]: Denied access to client with invalid authentication data.

I also get a lot of this on /tmp/vmware-root/vmware-mks-*.log:

Can anyone hint me on how to solve this?

     1) Which version of horizon linux agent do you use?

     2) Could you run the pax11publish after login the remote desktop and show me the result? such as:

          [ksong@agent-rhel85 ~]$ pax11publish

      3) Could you also help to check the log in /tmp/vmware-root/vmware-DesktopWorker-xxxx.log and find any error log about audio?

2 - xcb_connection_has_error() returned true
