Linux VDI features time frame

We have a big need for linux VDI desktops.  However, not having single sign-on and composer integration is preventing us from using the current Linux VDI solution.  Is there any time frame for these features?  Are they even being worked on?

Currently, we are using Vmware Workstation inside windows 7 VDI desktops to provide our students with a linux environment.

Has anyone successfully deployed Linux VDI desktops that can be auto refreshed upon logout and integrated the logins to Microsoft AD or OpenLDAP?

Thanks for raising your questions here. Auto-refresh after log out is not supported yet. Since Linux has strong user isolation, you can try floating pool deployment for your students. BTW, which Linux distro is used by your environment? Thanks.
