Horizon 7.12 + RHEL 8 - auth problems - network manager vpn

Hi,

I have a RHEL 8 VM, i'm not using SSO, i login to the VM successfully using horizon client,  then i get the GDM login screen, i login to my user without any problems.

Then after being on my session, i can't for example start a VPN connection that i defined when i installed the VM:

Seems that when i'm on my user session via horizon view it can't access the gnome keyring where the secrets are stored.

If i logout from the horizon view client session and then connect directly to the VM console and login there to my user i can open the VPN connection without problem.

Anyone has any idea what the problem might be?

I was able to fix the issue by killing the gnome-keyring-daemon processes and starting it again after logging in to the desktop session.
