Horizon 7.11+ Ubuntu 1804+ Issues in Provisioning an Instant Clone Pool

Hello Team,

I created a Master Image out of a Template. I confirmed that its joined to the domain using samba.

And If I run su - administrator I do get logged in as an Administrator. So domain wise, all good. Have installed open-vm-tools, and also installed Agent 7.11

When I create the instant clone pool, it fails  with error, "19-Feb-2020 04:00:45 PST: Cloning of VM UBIC-1 has failed: Fault type is VC_FAULT_FATAL - Virtual machine is configured to use a device that prevents the operation: Device 'Serial port 1' is not supported.

Have tried multiple ways to troubleshoot, but I don't see any serial device attached to the Golden Image.

Per connection server logs:

2020-02-19T04:09:21.280-08:00 TRACE (1F80-200C) <propagate-1e8a7766-2c10-4d4a-9582-94fcd6028716> [PoolInformation] UBIC-1 (ipHostNumber=-/-/-, ipHostNumberOverride not set) added to errorVMs

2020-02-19T04:09:21.280-08:00 TRACE (1F80-200C) <propagate-1e8a7766-2c10-4d4a-9582-94fcd6028716> [PoolInformation] UBIC-1 (ipHostNumber=-/-/-, ipHostNumberOverride not set) skipping as not ready

Tried overriding the IP address according to below documentation, that doesn't work as well in 7.11

Overriding IP Addresses Using the -A Option
