I installed the Horizon client in preparation for connecting to a hosted virtual desktop that I'm going to be getting soon. My box is CentOS7. I found instructions for installing Horizon on CentOS7, but I noticed that when the install finished, it showed the following information:
-----------------------
VMware Horizon Smart Card
Success
VMware Horizon Real-Time Audio-Video
Failed libpng12.so.0
Failed libudev.so.0
VMware Horizon Client Drive Redirection (Tech Preview)
Success
VMware Horizon PCoIP
Failed libpng12.so.0
VMware Horizon USB Redirection
Failed libudev.so.0
VMware Horizon Virtual Printing
Success
VMware Horizon Client
Failed libpng12.so.0
Failed libXss.so.1
----------------------
Does this mean that some of the features of this client will not work? Is there something I should do about this?
Officially, only up to CentOS6.6 is supported. That can be seen in the user guide below. This was published this month, so it's up to date. Weather that means features won't work or not I couldn't tell you for sure. If those files failed during install, most likely it won't work. I'd imagine they'll get to CentOS7 in an update or two, but couldn't tell you for sure. Sorry for not having a fix for you.

Centos 7 works fine.
yum install libpng12
yum install libudev (not sure of the spelling.)
then it worked fine.
