Direct Connection to Linux View Agent?

Is there a linux implementation of the plugin for the View Direct Connection from the PicoIP client (I am using VMware View on Mac) to a Linux desktop?

I just wanted to setup a set of Linux VMs to be accessed via View Clients, from Mac. Also planning to not use a View Connection Server. I have installed a VM for test purpose with Ubuntu on it and setup the Agent as well.

Direct connection is not supported. You need to setup a connection server in your environment.

Thanks zhiminli. So we will go for the View Connection Server itself.

Any idea if there is a plan or timeline to port the Windows specific plugin for Direct connect to Linux?

I need to use 10 VMs as Linux desktops for development purpose. Also we own below licenses as of now.

1. vSphere 6 Enterprise Plus

2. vCenter Server 6 Standard

Any idea if View Connection Server license is included here?

Also, when we are going to have the direct connection to Linux View Agents?

Hi , Do we have any plan to support Horizon view direct connection for Linux ? It will really make life easy. If there are multiple VM in test environment, Every time adding VM in broker is pain.
