wsappx process is causing high CPU usage on Windows 10 Ent VM when horizon agent is installed.

The wsappx process in Win 10 Enterprise 1709 VM is generating high CPU usage. The VM has the Horizon 7.4 agent installed and is part of a Horizon 7 VDI infrastructure. I must also note that we are using Linked Clones. This high CPU utilization is causing the VM to be unusable.

I was able to take care of the issue by running the following command on the master image then doing a recompose: Get-AppxPackage -Allusers | Remove-AppxPackage. This command removed all of the unnecessary Win 10 packages which solved the issue.

Yeah that will remove all UWP apps so hopefully you don't need any of them. Have you looked at the OS Optimization fling?
