ws_TomcatService.exe memory increases gradually on Connection Server 8.4.0

Hi team,

We are getting high RAM usage in connection servers version 8.4.0.

Ws_tomcatservice is consuming more than 80% of memory and tends to increase steadily over time on Connection Server.

Hello ,

If you can re-produce this issue, then report it to VMware support, possible memory leak.

Best way to reproduce this, just reboot connection server and monitor it. Also note down amount of users connected. Also if tunnel connection is enabled or not

My system does not enable a tunnel at all.

I set up 3 CS but one CS has an issue with high memory with tomcatservice.

I was checking the event application on the server just only show the error BROKER_DESKTOP_LAUNCH_FAILURE, not have system service event.

Are you have any idea to fix without restart.

I am suggesting to raise it with VMware GSS support, if you can reproduce this issue. Possible memory leak issue.

@Windyy

I don't know if it can be cured, but please extend the java heap area of the Connection Server where the problem occurs and disable any anti-virus software on the Connection Server, including Windows defender if there is any.

If the problem persists, you will need to have VMware check the logs, etc.

If the possibility of a memory leak is suspected, the first priority is to disable any anti-virus software and Windows Defender installed outside of Connection Server and check for reproducibility.
