windows xp monochrome video driver wanted for VM

Call me crazy, but I think color is over rated...

I would like to have an option to limit the display driver in Windows XP or Windows7 in monochrome.

This is simply to reduce the bandwidth required for VDI... If color is not needed, why send it through the WAN?

Do you know how to change the VM to monochrome or "Black and White"? And I am not looking to change the desktop theme.

Ideally it would be nice to have a button that would toggle between monochrome and color (if needed).

I would like to see this added as part of the VMware Tools Video driver.

If you using PCoIP then I really would not worry the difference would be so small.
