i have a problem with windows 7 automated pool non-persistent
my parent vm for the pool runs good
now i create a snapshot and the pool
i logged in the view client and than i connect to the windows 7 view vm
when i logged in windows 7, i have the message "you must restart your computer for updates to take effect"
it´s not a message from "windows update", the service not running
This is not a generic message from VMware view....Are you sure you turned off automatic updates....Can you post a screenshot
Thanks,,

It's not a message from Windows Update, but a result from finding new hardware. The new hardware is the delta disk, that 's created by Composer. I have the same issue, and was unable to really solve it. Should be fixed when W7 is officially supported..
My workaround is now a post script in the pool that reboots the VM when Composer is finished. (shutdown /r /d P:0:0 /t 0)

thank you for the info
who can do this with a script?
Actually, that single line in my previous post is my script. So I just put "shutdown /r /d P:0:0 /t 0" in a batchfile called "Post.bat". I than kickoff this script in the pool under QuickPrep settings \ Post synchronization script. I put it in a directory on the local filesystem of the VM.

standard by create the view vm from replica autmatic reboot, but no reboot after this
I don't quite get your question. Does the post script not work?
-Poort
i don´t know
without script, after create the view vm (windows 7), vm reboot 1x automaticly
with script, vm reboot 1x
