vmware view 5.0 with PCoIP

Hello,

I have 2 ESXi 5.0 with vmware view 5.0 and linked clones. When I test to connect to a VM with Zero Client and PCoIP I have a window Found New Hardware for vmware view virtual usb device 01. I installed the latest vmware tools version and the view agent 5.0. If I try to connect to the same VM with the view client ont a laptop I haven't any new device founded. Is there a problem with my Zero Client, it's a Samsung NC220.

Did somebody have the same problem?

Kind regards,

Sounds like you have some type of USB device plugged into the zero client.

I found it!! I downloaded a USB driver on samsung web site. On the NC220 there is a Serial Port that doesn't exist for NC240. If I install the driver for this COM port it works fine, I haven't any window for a new hardware!

Thanks!

The device in question is the Serial-USB adapter built into the NC220. It's a Prolific PL2303 and you can currenlty find the driver at http://www.prolific.com.tw/US/ShowProduct.aspx?p_id=225&pcid=41
