I got an xp os and tons of apps installed on it that I am ready to make a image of. Its however its in the domain. Should I put it in a workgroup and sysprep and shut it down or is there another method to make images and deploy them in vmview?
If you use VMware View 4 pools with QuickPrep you can leave in the domain.
QuickPrep make all change for you (and not that does not make a full sysprep).
