view replica's

how do you tell which replica belongs to which snapshot or pool? I have an orphaned replica but it's in a medium pool with 4 other live ones and I don't know which to delete.

Not sure if you can check which pool a replica belongs to but you can check pooled VM's to see what replica they are attached to by looking at their vmdk.

You should see something like this:

================================

  1. Disk DescriptorFile

version=1

encoding="UTF-8"

CID=0b3be2f2

parentCID=0b3be2f2

createType="vmfsSparse"

parentFileNameHint="/vmfs/volumes/4ae14093-5101877e-5ff9-001cc0eaeeb9/replica-5a57667a-6a66-401f-bcb7-/replica-5a57667a-6a66-401f-bcb7-.vmdk"

  1. Extent description

RW 16777216 VMFSSPARSE "nplink-2-delta.vmdk"

  1. The Disk Data Base

#DDB

ddb.longContentID = "a920236ed127a74ab7138bd00b3be2f2"

================================

Not sure how many VM's you have but you could do a process of elimination ...
