vROPS for Horizon Alert Notification Settings

I’m a little new to vROPs, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to configure alert notification settings so that we receive alerts (either email or web hook  - doesn’t matter), for important events relating to Horizon infrastructure and our instant clone desktop pools.

I’m not really bothered about the VMs themselves, i.e. events like high VM utilisation, but I absolutely want to hear about stuff like:

- Any failure of any horizon component (Connection servers, vCenter, Access Gateways, ESXi hosts, Network, Storage etc).

- Horizon specific alerts like Instant Clone Provisioning failures, Pool availability etc

Right now, for each Horizon Pod, I have configured 2 alerts:

- Scope = Object, View Adapter + Children

- Notification Trigger = Impact, All Selected

- Criticality = Critical, Immediate, Warning

- Scope = Applications = View Pod Instance

- Notification Trigger = Alert Type, All Selected

- Criticality = Critical, Immediate, Warning

I think I get lost a little when defining the ‘scope’ of a notification setting - There are loads of combinations and object types.  Ideally, I just want a single notification configured which covers all important Horizon related events - particularly events which are likely to be service affecting.

Anyone care to share what they have configured?

Thanks
