vCenter deployment size for Horizon

Hi. We are doing a deployment of VDI with a license for 300 Horizon View. We are using Instant Clones. We may get a license for 2,000 if all goes well. I am trying to decide between the Small vs Medium vCenter deployment. Should I just deploy to Medium right now, in case we up our license? As Medium can support 4,000 VMs. I cannot find any guidance on the dpeloyment size for vCenter in Horizon. Thanks,,,

the size of vcenter is dependent on the number of hosts. To figure out the number of hosts try looking at this

VMware Knowledge Base

and the    ESX and Virtual Machine Storage Limits section.

You can always scale up the VCSA later. With 6.0 we initially had ours at tiny (2 vCPU/8 GB) and scaled it up to small (4 vCPU/16 GB) when we added more VDI. To avoid having to mess with storage we actually deployed it as small and then resized vCPU/memory.
