v2.2.1 view client has keyboard issues

when using the keyboard on the ipad, non-alphanumeric characters are not sent to the view desktop. Makes using secure passwords difficult!

Hi Ryan,

I can not reproduce the issue on iPad2(7.0.2) with View Connection Server 4.6.3 and English input method.

Would you let me know which character can not sent to remote desktop? Or all special characters can not be sent to remote desktop. I am sorry, I still can not recreate the issue.

It will work fine in an application once you're logged in...In my case, if I open up vSphere client and open up a console to one of my servers, if the password uses a 'special character', especially the "@" or "!" symbol, it does not enter the character, even if I use the window to enter the entire password and click 'send'.  As a matter of fact, if I use an 11 character password that has the "@" symbol, it will only drop all other characters after the special symbol.

The iOS View Client 2.3 is released in Apple Store now. Please upgrade view client to 2.3 version which have fixed some character input issue for vSphere client in remote desktop. It may help you resolve character issue.
