upgrading linux client from 2.x to 3.5.0 gives invalid certificate

We have delayed the upgrade from our linux thin client vmware client from 2.x. to version 3.5.0 (latest available for the wyse/dell linux suse TC) for this year, however in the 2.x client there were no certificate problems at all.

unfortunately now in the the test environment on the thin client we receive the error invalid certificate.

the facts:

Dell/Wyse D50D suse linux thin client client: vmware_viewclient-3.5.0-2999900.00.03.sletc11sp2.rpm

View server: 6.2.3

Agent in the VM: 6.2.3

The view dashboard is all green.

connecting from a windows machine which is domain joined, everything is working.

We have our own offline RootCA, with an intermediate who controls the revocation list.

on the thin client, we have imported the rootCA certificate and the chain from intermediate to the view server.

once we connect in the logfile /tmp/vmware-admin/vmware-horizon-client-xxxx.log

we have been wrestling with this for some time now, and we are running out of ideas Smiley Sad

Thanks for the feedback. Please add "view.defaultLogLevel = "0"  to the preference file, (~/.vmware/view-preferences), then reproduce the issue and attach the entire log.
