I am using VMware-view-client-4.0.1 on a centos 5.3 machine. I also installed pcoip and usb redirection components.
I am facing a problem of smartcard readers being not detected in virtual machine. When I connect a etoken to my machine and connect to a virtual machine, etoken is not detected in virtual machine. But when I connect to a remote desktop session using rdesktop, etoken is detected and working fine.
I also tried to connect a usb smart card reader(UTIMACO) after logging in to a virtual machine. But the smart card reader did not recognized in virtual machine. It is giving a error "SCSRVMAN - error when it try to connect to the smart card reader". I installed rpms of vmware components, I did not do any customizations. What could be the problem?
