Hi All,
To improve speed when opening Outlook in View desktops we have redirected the OST file to a network folder. However when we close Outlook it takes a long time (five to ten minutes) until Outlook actually quit. After Outlook is closed a system tray icon appears "Outlook is closing" When the user ends the View session (this is usually right after closing Outlook) Windows 7 waits and a force close is needed.
My question:
- Is there a way to accelerate the process of closing Outlook?
- What happens to Outlook profiles when I change the GPO setting to redirect OST file to "not configured". Will existing Outlook profile in View automatically change the location of the OST file to local?
Thanks,
Edy
