"unable to login to portal from home, but works from the office"

One user suddenly is unable to log into the view portal from at home.

She is

getting a message “unknown user name/password” and it doesn’t let her

get into the “VM” part at all. What is exceedingly odd though is that while in the office she can get in just fine (all desktops are virtualized, so she logs in everyday to View from the office.)

Sounds fishy to me, and I have no idea where to start trouble-shooting it ... is it possible that the external connection servers have lost her user in ADAM? If so, is there any way to force a re-sync?

Num lock? Don't laugh, I see it almost everyday.

Failing that, get the password and try for yourself from an external network.

Sounds like user error.

Double check caps lock also. Our primary clients are physicians and nurses and many of them make the num lock/caps lock mistake on a daily basis.

Another check point is that she is appending he Domain Name if needed, and Keyboard mapping, ie US and UK.

I usually instruct the user to type their password in the username field temporarily, just so they can see if they are typing what they think they are typing. It usually ends up being numlock, caps lock, or the wrong password altogether.
