Is there a way in View to just publish app and users dont see the desktop at all?

example.. I just want user to see the application upon login, and once they're log off then they should get disconnected from the desktop.  I dont want them to see anything at all.

I assume your trying to do something similar to published applications from Citrix?    That's not possible with VMware View though you could possibly use GPO to lock down the desktop so that only the ThinApp application is shown.

As mittim says above, not possible with VMware View today.

Why not try Microsoft RemoteApp? Does the same as XenApp but without additional license cost.
