public shared on master does not transfer to linked clones

Hi gurus

I have a gold Image with a user\public\desktop folder but when I create the pool based on this gold image, the public desktop folder is not created on the linked clones, has anyone here faced this issue and can help.

Please explain what does mean by Public desktops, are you able to create new desktops from the selected parent image

i faced it before and we couldn't solve it , however it was complicated environment i believe it either permission or group policy effect

alternatively you can use UEM or group policy to place the shortcuts in desktop
