nVidia vGPU mouse offset in fullscreen

Hi,

we are using Horizon view 2309 with nVidia A16 cards on the server. The VMs are running win10 (Feb24 update).

The ESXi-Version is 7.03 Build 21686933.

In the past we have used the nVidia LTS driver V13.9 without problems.

With the new LTS driver V16.3 (also on server and client) we have a cursor offset (only in horizontal direction).
(Only if started in fullscreen. After reducing the screen and return to fullscreen all is good)

If we use the 16.3 driver on the server and the 13.9 driver on the guest (which is a supported combination) then we have no cursor problems.

Does anyone knows a solution for my cursor problem?

Thanks

Hans-Peter

Tom_pieske told me the solution :

It looks like the setup of the display at the beginning of the session has trouble setting up. Can you try the adding the following registry key to the machine / if this is instant clones you will need to add to the golden image and take new snapshot and push to the pool:

HKLM\Software\Policies\VMware, Inc.\VMware Blast\config
PixelProviderForceViddCapture REG_SZ : 1

This will force the Horizon Indirect Display Driver to handle the display calls.

That works for me.
