I enter in the name of my connection server and it adds it to the client. then i click connect and i get an http error 404 with "ok" being the only button i can click. it then brings me back to the client so i am unable to connect to any desktops.
any ideas?
Is your connection broker actually available? Can you connect if you use the old Mac client?
i am able to connect using the ipad client as well as zero clients and the windows client. The mac client is the only one giving me problems. I am using pcoip only (forced on the pool) and when i tried the older mac client it would not connect.
Does trying to access your connection server via Safari (typing URL into browser address bar) work?
Sorry I lost track of this. As the other poster suggested can you resolve the URL in a browser window. This will verify that DNS is resolving everything correctly for the Mac.
Thanks for the response. For whatever reason, when i tried connecting again today, i no longer had the problem. It appears that you get the 404 error if there is no connection in place to the connection broker server. As a test, i disconnected from the wireless network on my mac and opened the view client and got the 404 immediately upon trying to connect. thanks again.
no worries. I as mentioned just a minute ago, I was on public wifi and going through a vpn to the connection server. Looks like there might have been something up with the vpn connection as when i tried it again today i was able to connect no problem. thanks.
