i got a horizon view VM that is in a pool but When powered on, I can only see a black screen on the vm console. USer cannot connect to VM.
other VMs in the pool is fine and can open VM console
The agent is probably in a non-optimal state. Rebooting the VM or restarting the View Agent usually fixes this issue.
Typically a connected sessions vm console would be blacked out due to Pcoip blackout policy.
as mentioned maybe the agent in your clone is in a weird state. reinstall vmware tools and agent on master and deploy a fresh clone to test.
