guest operating system has crashed while creating View Linked pool

while creating linked clone pool, I see that my initial windows vms are going to "Automatic repair", when I check the VC events, it shows me that guest operating system has crashed.

If I delete this and again create the pool, it get successful. BUt first time pool creation is always getting above error.

Interestingly I see those VM are the initial vms, so suppose 10 VMs were to recovery mode out of 100, all error vms will be 1 to 10.

Has anyone seen this issue before ?

I had a similar issue with a full clone pool.

I disabled View Storage Acceleration on that pool and VMs could be provisioned successfully again.

Horizon 7.7 with ESX 6.5 Build 10884925
