desktops are using same host name when using Automated pool

Hi, all,

I had create a Automated pool, using the template windows XP sp3, (whiche named client, joined domain, and installed vmware tool, agent).

But after everything finished, I connect the pool,  found it is a littble bit strange.

- all the vm clents, dns names with same, client.domain.com

what thing did I missed?

do you have any idea?

BTW,

I am using vmware view manage 4.6.

I believe your VMs got different names in vc but hostnames are same. Check your customisation specification, you might have specified a static netbios name
