We had a problem with view 4.0 with the ESX desktop host could not power on more than 10 VMs. The esx host had a view starter pack (10 vms) and we purchased an
additional 10 desktops... try to power on 11th VM and error in vCenter.
This was 'resolved' by VMware giving us 100 desktop licences for 60 days and it was specified this was a known (but not public) bug and it should be in the next release.
I couldnt spot this problem in the release notes, so I wondered if this licencing based bug has been fixed in 4.01?
